Now retired, I was formerly a strategic marketing and product management specialist working with, or for, technology companies.

I’ve been in IT and related industries for over 40 years and have seen lots of changes. I started feeding card decks into mainframes, moved on to feeding paper tape into minicomputers and I was involved in the birth of personal computing. Now it’s social media and online streaming of music, films and TV programmes.

I’m a keen skier, cyclist and walker. I love listening to all kinds of music, I grow, and eat, my own vegetables. Although I own a car, I prefer to walk, cycle or use public transport, and I have opinions about almost everything.
